Mission Statement
Strength through united action, guided by intelligence is the hallmark of this trade union organization. Believing in such unity is essential for the mutual protection and advancement of the interests and general welfare of firefighters, emergency medical services personnel, and rescue workers throughout the City of Baytown and the great State of Texas. For this reason, we have formed the Baytown Professional Firefighters Association.
Our Values
To organize all firefighters and emergency medical services personnel and rescue workers
To secure just compensation for their services and equitable settlement of their grievances
To promote a safe and healthy working environment for firefighters and emergency medical and rescue workers as is possible through modern technology
To promote the establishment of just and reasonable working conditions
To place the members of the Association on a higher plane of skill and efficiency
To promote harmonious relations between firefighters and emergency medical and rescue workers and their employers
To promote the research and treatment of burns and other related health problems common to firefighters and emergency medical and rescue workers
To give back to the community through charitable events, fundraisers, etc
To cultivate friendship and fellowship among its members
And most importantly protect the Citizens of Baytown through intent, deliberate, and humble service
