Texas House District 23 candidate Terri Leo Wilson recently participated in our Fire Ops 101 program where she got to see first hand what our firefighters do every day on the job. She is committed to improving our broken worker’s compensation system in Texas, expanding presumptive disease and PTSD coverage for our members, and making our community and firefighters’ safety a top priority in Austin.

"I have always stood strong in support of our hard-working firefighters and the safety of our communities. First responders need leaders in the legislature that will give firefighters a voice in protecting our neighborhoods and in securing the modern technology needed for safety and efficiency,” Wilson said. “Promoting a safe and healthy working environment for firefighters, emergency medical, and rescue workers is of vital importance.”
